Director/Principal

Samantha is an experienced communications strategist as well as an accomplished corporate and commercial leader. She has almost two decades of senior experience, including executive positions in both Australia and New Zealand and consulting engagements around the world.

Samantha founded The Thoughtscape Group in 2002 with a view to bringing together frank and fearless consultants to deliver outcome-focused solutions.  Her blend of practitioner expertise, leadership experience and strategic insight help guide her team's engagements across a broad range of industries and sectors.  As a highly skilled executive facilitator, she is also able to help leadership teams reach consensus and resolve issues that block optimal performance.

Thoughtscape's past and present clients have spanned the globe and include Telstra, Foster's Group, HP, Henkel, Macquarie Group, ANZ Bank, National Australia Bank, AMP, the Department of Planning and Community Development, KPMG, Becton and many more. Samantha and her team have worked in more than 15 countries, as well as leading regional and global projects.

Samantha was born and raised in the United States where she won national University titles in both public speaking and debate while studying Communications and International Relations. She immigrated to New Zealand in 1991, and then to Australia in 2001. While she considers herself a Kiwi, Samantha says she probably has to accept status as an Australian-in-training now that she's a long-term member and supporter of the Richmond Tigers Football Club.  She and husband David, a jazz musician and educator, live in Melbourne.
